The Silent Patient

This was my book clubs read for May.  Not daunted by COVID restrictions we had a virtual Zoom meeting.  It is not the same as meeting in person but at least we got the opportunity to see each other and catch up on each others lives.

The book centers around the murder of a fashion photographer.  The wife is the prime suspect but nothing is for certain since the potential murderer refuses to talk and is confined to an institution.

The story develops through several  forms of communication, diary entries, art work and narrative.  What makes this book different than other psycho thrillers is the way the author weaves the tale of the characters and your just not sure how it will end until it does.

I really enjoyed the book
