If you need a nice romance novel, read Barefoot Season. It has a good story line about a female Vet returning home from Afghanistan to heal from a gunshot wound. Her unit was ambushed and she is the sole survivor.
Her Father gave her an Inn that was run by her Mom while she was away. I don't want to give any more than that away but she is helped by people on the island that she has known and that are new acquaintances.
