A Pandemic. I work in end user technology for a Health Organization. For years we have been discussing the different scenarios and trying to plan. Sadly that day has come. From an IT perspective this is an interesting and challenging journey. Requirements literally change in five minutes. Wow carts (work stations on wheels are being specially configured not only to provide information to our amazing staff but to provide information without spreading the virus. Mobile devices are being used in ways they were never used in a health setting before. Computers, ipads, androids all need to be configured and deployed rapidly.
As people in the media like to say we are living in a "New Normal". I am curious to know after this whole pandemic dies down and I know it will, how much of the old normal will return to us.
I work on site and remotely. To unwind from the stress of the day, I have been reading non stop and as the picture shows, drinking a glass of wine know and then.
